The Rodin Museum is one of the most charming places in Paris. The works of Auguste Rodin, including The Thinker, an icon of Western art, can be discovered among the roses and under the large trees. The visitor walks in a garden of more than three hectares in the middle of the main monumental sculptures: Victor Hugo, Balzac, The Burghers of Calais and The Gates of Hell. The mansion built in the early 18th century and completely renovated in 2015 houses the collections. The atmosphere, the charm and the discovery of the famous marble Kiss in the heart of the woodwork will make your visit an unforgettable experience.
A group is composed of 10 visitors or more, and up to 25 visitors. Group visits must be booked in advance through the online ticketing service. Without prior reservation, access to the museum may be denied.
How to book your visit?
Your visit is booked in 3 steps
- STEP 1
Each group must purchase a "reservation fee" to reserve a day and time for the visit. This reservation fee also allows the group to choose the area of the visit they want: a visit to the Hôtel Biron + sculpture garden, or the temporary exhibition + sculpture garden.
- STEP 2
Visitors must also bring their own tickets. A group rate is available (€11 instead of €15 on the online ticketing service). These tickets cannot be used for individual visits.
Visitors who are already entitled to free admission as individuals, such as young people between the ages of 18 and 25 who are residents of the European Union, do not need to purchase admission tickets: they will be asked for proof of age on the day of the visit. See our list of free tickets here.
Each group is entitled to one free companion per group.
- STEP 3
If the group leader wishes to comment on the visit, the rental of a pack of audiophones is mandatory for more comfort during the visit. External equipment is not allowed inside the museum.
If the exact composition of the group is not known in advance, it is possible to reserve only the right to confirm its coming, and to buy directly on the spot the entrance tickets and the audiophones according to the number of visitors present.
