Throughout his career, Auguste Rodin experienced great success as well as failures and misunderstandings... Some works, considered at the time to be experiments or trials, remained in the shadows or hidden away in his studio. A lecturer invites young and old alike to discover the sculptor's famous and lesser-known sculptures on a tour full of surprises.

    How are sculptures born?

    IN JANUARY, FEBRUARY AND MARCH 2026

    As you explore the museum's collections with a guide, step into the sculptor's studio and search for the first clay sketches and plaster models that preceded the more famous bronze or marble works. Discover the techniques and materials used in sculpture and share your insights into the creative process with young and old alike.

    As beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside!

    IN MARCH, MAY AND JUNE 2026

    The bronze works are displayed both indoors and outdoors, where they can be admired surrounded by the unique décor of the Hôtel Biron or in the greenery of the sculpture garden. Accompanied by a guide, come and explore the rooms and walkways to discover Auguste Rodin's iconic works and how they interact with their surroundings.

      Combined ticket (activity and admission ticket with skip-the-line access included): €24

      Activity ticket only (excluding admission): €12

      Reduced rate (under 18s, people with disabilities, job seekers, Rodin card members, etc.): €9

      Additional information

      • Activities in French only, intended for children aged 6 and over and their accompanying adults.
      • Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
      • Participants must arrive approximately 15 minutes before their reserved tour time slot.
