“Motion in Stillness!”
Discovery Tour
What greater challenge for a sculptor than to capture movement in a still work of art? Accompanied by a museum guide, discover bodies in motion, imitate the sculptures to better understand them, and observe how Auguste Rodin plays with balance—and sometimes even anatomical reality—to bring moving bodies to life.
- Tuesdays 20 and 27 October 2026, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursdays 22 and 29 October 2026, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
“Sketching Sculpture: Movement and More”
Drawing Tour
This drawing tour invites you to uncover the secrets of sculptors whose still works seem to walk or dance. Guided by an artist, take a closer look through drawing and careful observation, and learn how to depict figures that create the illusion of movement.
Your sketchbook will become a keepsake of your explorations and experiments.
