Poetry and literature according to Rodin

« Dans ma jeunesse, je croyais que lire un poème, par exemple, cela pourrait m’aider à comprendre mon art. »

Auguste Rodin

Did you know that Rodin was an avid reader? The links between Rodin's works and literature and poetry will be brought to light in a number of activities. On this 19th edition of the Night of the Museums, come and discover or rediscover the Musée Rodin, its works and its gardens by night, revealed by an exceptional lighting display.

The Rodin Museum will also have the pleasure of presenting a new large-scale work to the public in the sculpture garden. The Victor Hugo nu, debout has been added to the permanent collections thanks to the generous donation from the Pierre Gianadda-Martigny Foundation.
