Photography Department

Activities dedicated to Rodin’s artistic production

The Photography Department has over 46,000 documents relating to the artist’s entire body of works: not only sculptures, drawings, paintings and engravings but also his personal collection. All of these are available to both professionals and amateurs.

This extremely rich collection was built up in the course of the various photographic campaigns undertaken during inventories and exhibitions organized by the museum’s scientific departments. It also includes documentary photographs relevant to the artist’s life and the museum.

The documents are available on all types of support (colour transparencies, black-and-white prints, high-definition digital file) and in all formats.
